It will take you approximately 12 minutes to complete.

OBJECTIVE

To explore the organization by listening and observing:

Put on an explorer/anthropologist hat on and look at the organization in terms of

  • what you could improve
  • what you could do better or differently 
  • what interests you to explore further 
  • what catches your attention
  • what makes you wonder

HOW

1. Organize in squads

 

2. Approach people within the organization, ask questions, listen to the stories and the narratives.  

3. Observe openly without judging or interpreting. 

4. Revisit the tools shared in the sessions to help you.

5. Distribute roles: determine expected outcomes and time to be invested.

6. Register your insights from conversations and observations. 

7. Regroup to synthesise the findings and identify patterns and outstanding themes.
