WAY COURSE COMMITMENT
The Future Scenarios Upskill course starts with a Way Course, in which you will dive into the Hyper Island Methodology and learn more about the processes and theories that Hyper Island is founded on.
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday (4 days), 10.00–15.00 CET
- Format: Online
Attendance for the whole Way Course is highly recommended. Please note that attending only a few days or hours of the Way Course is not permitted, as it disrupts the process.
While there are no mandatory in-person meetups, please note that the course involve group work, which may require you to collaborate with your group outside of scheduled session times.
We also encourage you to take the initiative to organise your own meet ups if you would like to connect with your peers.

How to Prepare for School Start
During your weeks at Hyper Island, we will support your learning journey by bringing in an industry expert to spend time with you, pushing your ability to think and do. You will also be introduced to and be using different platforms such as Slack, Miro, Gmail, and Zoom. Below you can find all the instructions about:

All students with a state funded seat and a Swedish personal number can apply for CSN support
➡️ If you have a Swedish "personnummer", and have a government-funded seat, you can apply for CSN. Note: If you have a "personnummer" from another Nordic country (Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and the Faroe Islands), you should contact your local education support provider.
Studying in two part-time Upskill courses does not necessarily make students eligible for full-time student funds, it depends on various factors and is determined by CSN. For further information, please visit their website or contact CSN directly.
📣 Important steps for CSN application:
1. You need to pick “Kort utbildning max 99 poäng for your application
2) You have to state the exact dates and number of points for your course, with the following information:
2025-11-10 - 2026-04-10 22 weeks / 55 HVE credits
You can apply for the period already now. In case of questions, please visit the CSN website or contact them directly.
Student Discount
Your student card (Mecenat) will be available about 2-3 weeks after school starts. Your Program Admin can provide you with more detailed information about Mecenat.
All students (with and without Swedish Personnummer) will receive a student card after the course start. We can not produce these cards before this.
* To get a discount on SL, you need to study 75%, so if you only study an Upskill course, you will not be eligible for the SL discount.
